Oh no she didn't! Katy Perry has been making the headlines of late for her fledgling romance with Florence and the Machine man ROBERT ACKROYD, the guitarist being widely reported as being infatuated with the former wife of Russell Brand. However where there's a relationship there's a John Mayer, lurking in the wings, breathing heavily and ready to pounce on any susceptible glamorous lass that shows a sign of weakness - and so it's been proved again!

The easy lovin' soft-rocker reportedly spent the evening of June 19th with Perry at Soho House in Hollywood. A witness was on hand to see the pair together, exclaiming with no little shock to US Magazine "They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling!" Crumbs. The next night Mayer, the notorious sleaze, invited Perry around to his pad - where we presume he has a mirror above his bed and an array of saucy dressing gowns to slip into - and they apparently merely noshed on pizza. We don't know if that's a euphemism. The whole event happened just days after Perry and Brand finalised their divorce.

Among Mayer's past crimes against the opposite sex include him comparing intercourse with ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson to "crack cocaine", stating that his penis "is sort of like a white supremacist" when asked about black women, and publicly trash talking about Jennifer Aniston after they split three years ago. What a lad.
