The actress and singer isn't the first celebrity to opt for the name 'Luca' - Jennifer Garth and Peter Facinelli, who recently announced their split, named their baby-girl Luca in 1997. In 2001, Oscar-winning actor Colin Firth named his son Luca too.

Though a best-selling artist and high profile actress, Duff has also launched her own fashion range 'Stuff by Hilary Duff', as well as a range named Femme for Dkny Jeans. Her other business ventures include writing a series of young adult novels including Elixir (2010) and Devoted (2011).
