Dicaprio And Winslet Reunite Onscreen
Variety reports that the pair will appear in Dreamworks studio's film Revolutionary Road, which is based on the 1961 book of the same name by Richard Yates.
Directed by Winslet's husband Sam Mendes, it will focus on post-war disillusionment in one of America's suburbs.
The much-acclaimed novel follows Frank and April Wheeler, a beautiful and talented couple determined to pursue their dreams of greatness while constrained by the pressures of their lives.
It will be produced by Mendes, John N Hart, Scott Rudin and Bobby Cohen in association with BBC Films.
In contrast to the planned suburban setting, DiCaprio and Winslet's last on-screen combination saw them star as doomed lovers Jack Dawson and Rose DeWitt Bukater on the ill-fated ship Titanic. The film went on to win 11 Academy awards.
Since then both DiCaprio's and Winslet's careers have gone from strength to strength. At this year's Oscars ceremony they were nominated for best actor and best actress for their roles in Blood Diamond and Little Children respectively.
