Joshua Jackson - Diane Kruger’S Teenage Joshua Ignorance

Joshua Jackson loves Diane Kruger because she's never seen 'Dawson's Creek'.

The 31-year-old actor - who shot to fame playing Pacey Witter in the US teen drama - is thrilled the 'Inglourious Basterds' star never saw him as an "awkward teenager with pimples".

Diane explained: "I've never seen 'Dawson's Creek' because my mum didn't really let us watch TV. Josh couldn't believe it. He was like, 'You're the perfect girl for me because you never saw me with pimples!' "

Now 33, Diane is free to watch the drama whenever she wants, but is too scared it will change her opinion of her lover.

She said: "He has a box set he could show me but I'm not sure if I should watch it. It might change my perception of him. When I met him, he was a man, you know? I'm not sure I want to see his awkward teenage mode."

Diane and Joshua have been dating for three years and he actress - who divorced her first husband, French actor Guillaume Canet, in 2006 - is constantly surprised by how "easy" their relationship is.

She added: "It was much harder when I was with Guillaume because it felt like I wasn't around. But when Josh and I met, I was already doing movies in France and America so the tone was set from the beginning. We've found a good balance. We try not to be apart for more than two weeks at a time."
