A UK exhibition commemorating the late British royal DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES has made a loss of $446,500 (GBP235,000) as a result of falling numbers of visitors.
The museum held at the Princess's family home of Althorp House in Northampton, England - opened by her brother EARL SPENCER every year to the public - has seen a dramatic drop in guests since opening in 1998, with only 80,000 last year (04).
However, Earl Spencer wants the homage to his late sister, who died in a Paris car crash in 1997 at the age of 36, to be moved to a location associated with Diana, such as her former London home, Kensington Palace.
Spencer explains, "I don't want to make it (exhibition) inaccessible."13/03/2005 10:28
