Devo To Release Track In Homage To Mitt Romney Dog Incident
Devo, who've always retained an excellent sense of humor within their work, are paying a dubious kind of homage to the incident by releasing the track 'Don't Roof Rack Me, Bro! (Remember Seamus)', according to Rolling Stone. The single will apparently be released on August 25th. With the election campaign hotting up between Romney and Obama, Devo are, in their own tongue in cheek way, coming out very much on the side of the current President. The group's founder Gerard V. Casale is kicking off a campaign called Remember Seamus, that is supposed to help "make 2012 the year where animals like Seamus are valued and honesty is praised."
Additionally, Casale is designing a special shirt with the logo Dogs Against Romney. Ah, Devo, we love you.
