Desperate Housewives Feud: Teri Hatcher Dodges Wrap Party
The alleged feud between Teri Hatcher and the rest of the Desperate Housewives cast took an intriguing turn this week when the actress failed to turn up at the show's production wrap party or the official bash at Hollywood's W Hotel.
Though Felicity Huffman, Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Vanessa Williams were all in attendance, Hatcher decided to dodge the parties. A further clue to a possibly rift lies with a parting gift that was sent from the cast to the production crew as a thank you for their efforts. Attached to the gift was a card that read, "Just know that on all your future adventures you are carrying a little piece of our love and gratitude. Thank you for a magical 8 years. Love, Eva, Marcia, Felicity and Vanessa" - no mention of Hatcher. A production source told the site, "The girls don't get along with Teri so they organized this and left her out". According to the Hollywood Reporter, the cause of the actress' increasing distance from her cast-mates could be down to bitterness over Eva Longoria's character taking more of the spotlight.
In an email to TV Guide magazine, Hatcher hinted at a strained relationship, saying, "I will never disclose the true and complicated journey of us all, but I wish everyone on this show well".
