Welch, who is also a panellist on daytime chat show Loose Women, broke down in tears on live TV in February (12) after announcing her split from her actor husband Tim Healy, but she is now set to wed Townley next July (13), according to Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper.

Former Celebrity Big Brother star Welch, 54, is said to be "absolutely thrilled" after her 39-year-old boyfriend popped the question while on holiday in Nice, France, saying, "I had no idea the proposal was coming."

The happy couple has since been pictured window shopping for rings and Welch is said to be excited at the prospect of planning the ceremony.

A source says, "Lincoln knew fairly early on that Denise was 'the one' and, over the past few months, they have become inseparable. After breaking up from Tim, Denise thought she would never marry again. She never reckoned on falling in love so soon."
