Demmel Raising Funds For Alexander's Grieving Family
MACHINE HEAD rocker PHIL DEMMEL is auctioning off a signed guitar to raise funds for the family of late British thrash metal rocker MIKE ALEXANDER - who died while on tour in October (09).
Evile bassist Alexander was admitted to hospital just a few days into the band's European tour with Swedish death metal band Amon Amarth, which kicked off on 2 October (09).
He passed away in Lulea, Sweden on 5 October (09) due to a pulmonary embolism, a blood clot on the lungs. He was 32.
Now Demmel is auctioning off a signed Jackson KV2 guitar on eBay.com to help raise funds for Alexander's grieving relatives.
The auction is set to end on 23 December (09). As WENN went to press, bidding had reached $1,184 (£740).
