Delta Goodrem - Delta Goodrem Denies Copying Arcade Fire Song

Australian singer Delta Goodrem has brushed off accusations she copied a song by Canadian rockers Arcade Fire.
The pop star made a return to the charts earlier this year (12) with her release of her first single in four years, Sitting on Top of the World, but the track prompted comparisons to Arcade Fire's 2005 hit Rebellion (Lies).
Many fans suggested Goodrem's song is strikingly similar, but the singer now insists she had never heard the Arcade Fire track until the story hit headlines.
She tells, "I hadn't heard of (the song) until that moment and then I checked it out and was blown away. They're incredible. I think the whole thing was a bit of a storm in a teacup."
