During an interview with Anderson Cooper - which airs on April 23, 2012 - a typically witty Messing said, "This is Allure's annual nude issue, and there are several of us, several actresses. Why they decided to wait until I was 43 to ask me, I don't know". Nevertheless, the actress has gone down a storm with Allure readers, with the likes of Maria Menounos, Heidi Klum and Lesie Bibb also posing in the same issue. The award-winning actress - who is quietly dating her 'Smash' co-star Will Chace - also opened up to Cooper about her own celebrity crush, The Voice coach Cee Lo Green. When the host retorted, "Cee Lo Green? The guy who strokes the cat?", Messing replied, "How crazy is that cat? That made him even cooler to me, that crazy cat. It's the fact that [Cee Lo] wears red all the time and he's got that smile and he's got the glasses. He's nurturing but he's naughty, you know he's naughty, but yet he just wants everyone to love and be good and music".

The actress is best known for playing the interior designer Grace Adler in NBC's long running sitcom 'Will and Grace'. The show ran from 1998 to 2006 for a total of eight seasons.
