Connie Britton - Death Of Britton's Father Pushed Her To Adopt

The former Spin City star had long harboured a desire to have a family of her own, but it wasn't until her dad's death that the single actress realised there was no point in delaying her plans any longer.

She got in touch with an adoption agency and, earlier this month (Nov11), became a first-time mother to nine-month-old Ethiopian boy Yoby.

But that doesn't mean Britton, 44, has given up hope of finding love.

She tells People magazine, "I've always hoped to find a man that will be a great husband and father. I have faith that I'll find that. It's just in a different order."
