Death From Above 1979 - Death From Above Show Halted By Police

Death From Above 1979's show at the South By Southwest festival descended into chaos on Saturday night (19Mar11) as police stormed the stage in an attempt to calm fans who had torn down a fence and piled into the venue.
The Canadian dance duo reunited this year (11) after their 2006 split and played their first comeback gig at the Austin, Texas event.
Fans desperate to glimpse the concert began building up in an alleyway next to the Beauty Bar, where the outdoor show was taking place, and eventually a fence keeping people out was torn down, prompting organisers to call cops.
Police officers took to the stage and asked the band to stop the gig while they dealt with the situation, while cops on horseback attempted to disperse the crowds outside.
After a 10-minute break, the band was allowed to continue with the gig, according to Cbc.ca.
