Electronic dance music star Deadmau5 has taken aim at the bosses of Craigslist.com after they pulled the sale of his 2013 Ferrari 458 Spider (F1 Edition) from the listings website.

The Dj recently completed the Gumball 3000 rally in the sports car and was asking for offers close to $380,000 (£228,000) for the vehicle, which he dubbed the 'Purrari'.

His original Craigslist ad reads: "Selling the majestic Purrari... asking 380k Obo (or best offer)... anything over 380 goes to charity, so get those bids in! (Toronto Humane Society).

"We will personally invite the buyer to Toronto to come and film a 'farewell purrari' coffee run with me... We will ship this thing anywhere in north america."

The ad was mysteriously removed by Craigslist bosses, but the Dj has since taken to Twitter.com, insisting he'll sell it elsewhere.

Deadmau5 writes, "craigslist removed my listing? what the f**k for? is it not a site for selling s**t?"
