Dead Man's Chest Smashes Us Box Office Records

Pirates Of The Caribbean: DEAD MAN'S CHEST has smashed US box office records by taking $132 million (GBP73 million) during its first three days on release (07-09JUL06).
The Disney sequel, which stars Johnny Depp, Keira Knightley and Orlando Bloom, sailed past SPIDER-MAN's 2002 haul of $114.8 million (GBP63.8 million).
The movie's producers are also celebrating a three-fold increase over PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN: THE CURSE OF THE BLACK PEARL's $46.6 million (GBP26 million) opening in 2003.
Superhero movie SUPERMAN RETURNS is a distant second place on the box office chart with $21.4 million (GBP11.9 million), closely followed by The Devil Wears Prada's $15.6 million (GBP8.7 million) take.
Adam Sandler movie CLICK and animated adventure CARS round out the top five with $12 million (GBP6.7 million) and $10.3 million (GBP5.7 million) respectively.

It's number 1 and they make more money the 2nd than the 1st one. Some people like the first one better, but like the second because Captain Jack said "Why is the rum always gone" and "Elizabeth and look away and told Mr.Gibbs hide the rum".
