De Niro To Help Raise Obama Funds At Cocktail Party
Robert De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower will host a cocktail reception to raise funds for President Barack Obama's re-election campaign on Monday (19Mar12).
The Oscar winner will be joined by America's First Lady, Michelle Obama, at the $2,000 (£3,100)-a-head meet-and-greet to be held at New York's Greenwich Hotel, which De Niro owns.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Whoopi Goldberg will also be among the hosts at the event, which will be attended by stars like actress Angela Bassett and Beyonce's mother Tina Knowles.
