De La Huerta Dropped From Boardwalk Empire
Actress Paz de la Huerta has been axed from Martin Scorsese's award-winning TV drama series Boardwalk Empire.
Cable network bosses at HBO have decided not to renew the star's contract as Lucy Danziger, the ex-girlfriend of Steve Buscemi's Enoch 'Nucky' Thompson, ahead of the U.S. programme's third season, which is due to begin shooting in the coming weeks.
De La Huerta's exit from the show comes months after she was ordered to undergo alcohol counselling for a harassment charge relating to a nightclub altercation last March (11).
