De La Hoya's Dancer Pal Sues For Defamation
Milana Dravnel, the Russian-born dancer who caused a stir when she went public with saucy pictures of De La Hoya last month (Oct07), is accusing the boxer of fraud, defamation, interference with contract and undue influence in a new lawsuit.
The 22-year-old is demanding $100 million (GBP50 million) in damages.
Her lawyer, Salvatore Strazullo, tells the New York Post the boxer's representatives "did everything (they) could to thwart her being able to sell this, saying they weren't real, photoshopped, and that she didn't know what she was doing... that she was just a stripper."
Strazullo also claims De La Hoya's people threatened his client, warning her to keep the pictures away from the press.
Dravnel reportedly sold the images to a photo agency in September (07) for $70,000 (GBP35,000).
