Davis Scared Of Sex And The City Movie

SEX AND THE CITY star KIRSTEN DAVIS is terrified the forthcoming movie version of the hit TV show will fail to live up to the hype. The programme's first big-screen outing - due for release later this year (08) - faced intense media scrutiny during the shooting of scenes in New York. And the 42-year-old, who will revive her role as Charlotte York, fears the media is putting extra pressure on everyone attached to the movie. She says, "(It) scares me. I know people miss the show - so do we - but we never expected all this attention, or all the photos, none of which have been officially released. "But when you shoot on the streets of New York - which is what Sex and the City is all about - you can't hide from photographers. I can't go anywhere without make-up. It's very flattering that people care, but it puts a lot of pressure on us to make a great movie that our fans will love."
