David Thewlis - David Thewlis' Social Movie
David Thewlis enjoyed working on the 'Harry Potter' movie series because it was more like a social event than a job.
David Thewlis felt being in 'Harry Potter' was more like a "social occasion" than work.
The British actor - who played professor and secret werewolf Remus Lupin in the wizarding movie series - admits he misses the films now they are complete because he had such a great time hanging out with the show's stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint and Julie Walters.
He said: "I kind of miss it now that it's really over. It was mainly just a social occasion, two weeks hanging out on night shoots with Dan, Emma, Rupert and Julie Walters. It wasn't ever hard in terms of figuring out your character. It wasn't ever a struggle running around with a wand."
Although David has taken some very serious and challenging acting roles in films such 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas', 'Kingdom of Heaven' and 'Gangster No. 1', he never takes his job too seriously.
He added: "What we do is ridiculous! I think that even when what I'm doing is serious, even when I'm not turning into a werewolf. It's a silly thing to do, isn't it? It's what you do in the playground when you're kids - but actors just never stop doing it."
