David Schwimmer - David Schwimmer Wants To Be U.k. Tv Star

The actor, best known as geeky Ross Geller on the long-running U.S. sitcom, admits he is a big fan of British Tv and would love to appear on a U.K. show - if only to please his wife.

He tells Britain's OK! Tv, "I live in New York, (but) I married a Brit... There are a couple of shows out here that I really love, like the new Sherlock and Luther.

"If they want to write any guest spots on either of those shows, I'm open. My wife would love an excuse to come back home."

Schwimmer wouldn't be the first Friends star to enjoy a stint on U.K. Tv - earlier this year (11), his former co-star Matt LeBlanc appeared as a fictional version of himself in the Bbc comedy Episodes.
