Veteran British singer David Essex has wed a woman 26 years his junior.
The 63-year-old Rock On hitmaker proposed to Susan Hallam-Wright in December (09) after they met and fell in love while working together in West End stage musical All The Fun of the Fair. The actress, 37, played Essex's prospective daughter-in-law in the show.
They sealed their union on Monday (20Sep10) with an intimate ceremony at St. Cross Church in Talybont, Wales.
Essex tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "It was a wonderful, small, private wedding.'
The singer has been married twice before - he divorced childhood sweetheart Maureen Neal in 1996, before marrying Carlotta Christy in 1997. The couple split in 2008.
