David Duchovny Backs Calls To Reopen The X Files - Comments and Message Board

NOTHING would have saved that movie. It was terrible ! They took what would have been the worst episode of the series and put it on the big screen and expected a hit (?). The first fans who saw it warned everyone else not to go.This is a huge, very vocal fanbase who has said what we want and even Carter does not listen. I cannot blame FOX for not wanting to risk the time and money again to get nothing in return in addition to the fan's wrath. Duchovny is still trying to rebuild the bridges that he burned in 1999. Sometimes you have to realize that you cannot go back.
