David Copperfield - David Copperfield In Plane Emergency

Illusionist David Copperfield was left terrified during a plane journey on Monday (04Mar13) when the aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing.

The magician was travelling to New York City ahead of an appearance on America's Today show when he heard a "scary" noise. Cabin crew informed passengers the plane would be making an emergency landing in Illinois and Copperfield later took to his Twitter.com page to let fans know he was safely on the ground.

In a series of posts, he writes, "Emergency landing... Everyone is ok. Emergency landing in Peoria, Illinois. So scary... I was on the way to Nyc for the Today Show on Nbc. Loud noise, emergency landing..."

He later filmed the Tv appearance via online communication service Skype and even played an audio recording of the noise he heard inside the plane's cabin.
