A complete restrospective of David Bowie's style, art and career is heading to the big screen for one night only in a special British broadcast live from London's Victoria & Albert Museum.

Fans across the U.K. will be given the opportunity to check out the David Bowie Is exhibition via a live stream at over 200 cinemas across the country, where curators and famous guests will walk them through the display and talk about items from the Bowie archive.

The event will be directed by Hamish Hamilton and take place on 13 August (13).

The exhibit, which draws to a close at the end of August (13), features Bowie's stage costumes, lyric sheets, memorabilia and artwork.

It shattered box office records at the V&A Museum in March (13) when fans snapped up 50,000 advance tickets.
