David Beckham loves British Christmas

David Beckham loves returning to England for Christmas.

The 37-year-old soccer star and his wife Victoria are determined their four children - Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 17-month-old Harper - stay in touch with their roots and love having a traditional festive experience in their UK home.

He said: ''Being home with the family celebrating Christmas is my idea of a good time. Victoria and I want our kids to have an English upbringing so that is always special to me.''

While David recently announced he is leaving his US soccer side LA Galaxy, he has admitted he and his family will always regard Los Angeles as ''home''.

He said: ''Whether we spend more time in England or here, LA is always going to be regarded as our home.

''I have loved playing here and living here. Like I said, I will always be part of LA and it will be very special.''

David - who has previously played for English club Manchester United, Spanish team Real Madrid and Italian club A.C. Milan - has been linked to a number of clubs including ones on China, Australia, Russia, South Africa and his native England.
