David Beckham - David Beckham Hacked As 'Harper Seven' Is Born
David Beckham's official website was hacked on Sunday (10th July 2011), just hours after his wife Victoria Beckham had given birth to the couple's first daughter. David was busy celebrating the arrival of 'Harper Seven' when a mystery online-intruder left a bizarre message on his website's home page, reports the Huffington Post.
The hack on davidbeckham.com involved a picture being added to the main header of a dog attempting to eat a poster of some dog food. The picture's caption simply read, "ScooterDAshooter = Fail", which is likely to refer to the hacker's codename or digital identity. Graham Cluely, of software firm Sophos, wrote on his blog, "Fortunately it appears that this particular hack is more about defacement than being malicious - if those who broke in had chosen to, they could probably have inserted malicious code into David Beckham's website to install malware onto visiting computers". Cluely also noted Beckham isn't the first footballer to have his website hacked under similar circumstances. In 2009, Argentinean legend Diego Maradona was dubbed a "cry baby" after his site was compromised and Brazilian Ronaldinho fell victim to a hacker who compared him to Star Wars character 'Jar Jar Binks' and Al-Qaeda Osama Bin Laden.
David Beckham's daughter 'Harper Seven' was born at the Cedars-Sinai medical facility in Los Angeles on Sunday. 'Seven' is thought to refer to the number David famously wore on the back of his shirt for both Manchester United and England.
