David Beckham is desperate for a daughter.

The soccer star - who has sons Brooklyn, 10, six-year-old Romeo and Cruz, four, with wife Victoria Beckham - would love to expand his family even further and dreams of having a sister for the three boys.

He said: "I really want more kids and I hope it happens soon. I want a little girl. That would be amazing."

The 34-year-old star also heaped praise on Spice Girl-turned-fashion designer Victoria for her "amazing” fashion sense.

He told Britain's The People newspaper: "My wife looks just amazing. She always does. Whenever she tries something new she manages to pull it off."

Victoria, 35, has previously spoken of her desire to have a baby girl.

She said: "If it happens, I'd love it. You can't choose what you have but after three boys I would love a girl."

David and Victoria will soon have lots of time to work on expanding their family as she is said to be relocating from Los Angeles to Italy, where the sports star is currently playing soccer for AC Milan.

A source recently said: "Victoria loves America but all the flying back and forward is starting to take its toll, and being apart from David has been really hard for them both.

"Victoria hated the idea of moving to Milan at first, but she's warmed to it. Plus, she doesn't want David to be away from her and the kids."
