Megadeth - Dave Mustaine Hit By Rock On Stage

The rockers were performing at Metalfest 2012 but singer Dave Mustaine abandoned the show after he was hit in the head by a stone.

Missiles were thrown as chanting revellers called for fellow metal band W.A.S.P. to appear following unconfirmed rumours their frontman Blackie Lawless refused to perform at the event after falling out with Mustaine.

After Megadeth left the platform, a spokesman for the band took to the stage and told the audience, "Guys, Dave's been hit in the head with a rock... I apologise. He's been hit in the head."

The crowd then launched further items at the spokesman prompting him to also leave the stage.
