Dappy Faces A Mountain To Climb After Being Charged With Assault
N-Dubz star Dappy was charged with assault in court earlier this week, and with his sentencing coming in mid-February, the badboy singer is facing a mountain of controversy that even he might not be able to combat.
In the past the N-Dubz star, who found fame with the pop/rap group with his cousin and current X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos and Fazer, has been accused of child abuse, domestic abuse towards the mother of his two children, drug abuse and sending a barrage of abusive texts to a woman who criticised him after N-Dubz signed up to an anti-bullying campaign (oh the irony). With his latest charge - he is charged with assault and affray for an incident involving him and three girls at a Surrey petrol station in February 2012 - and facing a potential three-year stay in prison should he be charged to the fullest in February, could this be the end of Dappy and if so, does anyone really care all that much?
To put it bluntly, it would come as some surprise if anyone was longing for the return of Dappy should he get sent down. He has offered nothing to the music industry since N-Dubz broke up, other than making Brian May look all the more like a laughing stock when the two hooked up for a track together. Offering no remorse or acknowledging any wrong doing in his latest run-in with the law, this might be the final nail in the coffin for Dappy's career. Well, until the 2015 N-Dubz reunion concert that is.

RIP Ray Manzarek
