Daniel Radcliffe Has Done 'Fair Share' Of Crying Over Potter

Daniel Radcliffe has done a "fair share of crying" about 'Harry Potter'.

The British actor - who has portrayed the boy wizard in the adaptations of J.K. Rowling's novels for the last decade - admits he isn't particularly sad about leaving the movie franchise, but found the last film poignant just because of the story.

He said: "What I was impressed by was that it wasn't a sense of nostalgia and emotion caused by my own personal relationship with the films, I was a wreck because of the film itself.

"You've got to have a heart of stone to not find part of it - especially Alan Rickman's performance - heartbreaking, so yeah, I've done my fair share of crying already."

However, the 21-year-old actor believes the series of movies - also starring Emma Watson and Rupert Grint - has proved franchises can grow rather than diminish as time continues.

He told MTV News: "It doesn't have to be a law of diminishing returns after the first film comes out.

"Providing a script is good enough. I would absolutely do another franchise, but it's not something I'm looking for in the next couple of years, certainly."
