Daniel Craig Wants To Take To The Stage
The actor, who studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama alongside Ewan McGregor and Joseph Fiennes, made his acting debut in the Shakespearean play Troilus and Cressida at 16-years-old.
Speaking to AOL Movies, he said: "My ideal would be to choose some new writing.
"I have nothing against the classics, but new writing to me seems like it gives you a chance to try new stuff out, stuff no one's ever seen before. I think that makes for a much more exciting theatre experience."
Meanwhile, the latest 007 told reporters at the premiere of his latest movie FLASHBACKS OF A FOOL - in which he plays a failed movie star - that he never worries about roles drying up.
Showbizspy.com reports that Craig said: "It's part of the profession. Who knows what the future holds for me?"
Daniel is currently filming the new JAMES BOND film QUANTUM OF SOLACE.
