Daniel Craig - Daniel Craig: 'Quantum Shoot Was Tough'
Daniel Craig admits shooting Bond movie 'Quantum of Solace' was tough because the script had not been finished when shooting started.
Daniel Craig admits 'Quantum of Solace' was "f**ked".
The actor reprised the role of suave British spy James Bond in the 2008 movie, but he reveals it was a troublesome shoot because there was a writers' strike, causing the script to be unready when filming began.
He told Time Out magazine: "On 'Quantum' we were f**ked. We had the bare bones of a script and there was a writers' strike and there was nothing we could do. We couldn't employ a writer to finish it. I say to myself, 'Never again,' but who knows?
"There was me trying to re-write scenes - and a writer I am not."
The blonde star is now working on his third James Bond movie 'Skyfall', and he admits he is excited to be working with director Sam Mendes on the project.
He said: "We sat down and we just rabbited for hours about 'Live and Let Die' or 'From Russia with Love' and talked about little scenes that we knew from them.
"That's how we started talking about it. That's what we tried to instill in the script. He's been working his arse off to tie all these things together so they make sense. In a Bond way."
