Daniel Craig Aims To Be Inspirational Bond
The 44-year-old actor - who reprises his role as secret agent 007 in the franchise's latest chapter, 'Skyfall' - says he always gives his absolute best on set because he feels lucky to work with some of the film industry's top people and wants to be inspirational in return.
Daniel told Empire magazine: ''When I'm doing the movie I'm totally single-minded. I keep my energy levels as high as I can all the time.
''I want to inspire, and be inspired. And I'm lucky enough to work with some incredible people with vast experience.
''I was standing on top of a train in Turkey with this crew of people, I looked around and I thought, 'You know, this is the best place to be for an actor'.
''So I kind of give it all I've got, and then collapse for a while!''
Daniel's hard work and dedication to his role have certainly made an impression on Sir Roger Moore - who played James Bond between 1973 and 1985 - since he recently branded him the best ever Bond.
Sir Roger wrote in his new book: ''I loved 'Casino Royale' and Daniel Craig.
''He is a wonderful actor, certainly the best actor to play Bond. [He has] the best build of any Bond.''
Director Sam Mendes claims that although his hotly-anticipated take on the spy's adventures is taking a different direction to the most recent instalments, he has kept the essence of Bond films.
Sam said: ''There are quite a lot of new things in this movie but I never had the intention to reinvent the wheel.''
