Danes To Play Autism Heroine Grandin In New Biopic

British actress JULIA ORMOND is to play CLAIRE DANES's mother in a new biopic about autism advocate TEMPLE GRANDIN.
Danes will take on the role of Grandin, who was diagnosed with such severe autism early in life her parents were told she'd probably never speak.
Her mother refused to have her daughter institutionalised and began to home school her.
Now 62, Grandin is a bestselling author and autism expert. She also fights animal cruelty.
The cast of Temple Grandin will also feature Catherine O'Hara and David Strathairn, according to Eonline.com.
The TV film will debut on HBO in America on 6 February (10).
