Dancing With The Stars Says Goodbye To Wendy Williams
Williams performed to 'Last Night a DJ Saved My Life' on Wednesday's show, but after failing to impress the judges she was the big favourite to exit the competition going into yesterday's results show. Speaking after her elimination, Williams said, "The problem is that it's not my personality that's in the competition, it's my feet. Despite stereotypes, this is one black girl who can't do the running man". Elsewhere on the show, Hines Ward and his professional partner Kym Johnson performed their table topping routine once more, with host Tom Bergeron remarking, "Just as nice seeing it twice" and there were live performances from the band OneRepublic and Selena Gomez. Kirstie Alley had the hit the headlines after Wednesday's show when she and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy took a tumble and fell to the ground during their performance. The 60-year-old actress had started well in the competition but had to settle for 21 points leaving her midway down the leader-board.
Dancing With The Stars returns next week when Hines Ward and Petra Nemcova are expected to battle it out for the top spot, while Ralph Macchio will be looking to regain his grip on the competition after a promising start.
