Mike Catherwood was the first 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant to be evicted from the show last night (29.03.11).
The radio host received a low score of 17 after his jive routine with partner Lacey Schwimmer failed to impress, putting him in the bottom three alongside boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard and talk show host Wendy Williams.
However, after being told he was to get the boot, the star was full of good grace and spoke of how he enjoyed working with Lacey.
He said: "America obviously knows that Lacey Schwimmer is a beautiful person on the outside, but everybody needs to know she's equally, if not more, beautiful on the inside. I've made a life-long friend."
The personality added that although he was leaving the ABC show so early, he found the experience "pleasurable".
He said: "It's been such an amazing experience overall. I just - it really has - it's been nothing but a pleasurable experience.
"It's been a really great, great experience. It sucks to be sent home first, but I made a lot of good friends."
