Dancing with the Stars Highlight: Carrie Ann Inaba Falls off Her Chair
To say the Dancing with the Stars concept is getting old would be a slight understatement, but it always helps when somebody falls off their chair now doesn't it? Imagine our excitement then when, during Monday's show, judge Carrie Ann Inaba got so excited that she fell on her backside, in front of millions.
The mishap came after actor Gilles Marini and professional dancer Peta Murtgatroyd had performed a racy routine to Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You. Bruno Tonioli was the first to praise the couple, yelling, "That was not a dance, that was master class theater. Gripping, thrilling, one of the best performances I've seen!" Cue Carrie Ann, who - like a drunk aunt - shrieked, "Let the baby-making begin!" before falling backwards and crumbling in a heap on the floor. Gasps filmed the ballroom as Tom Bergeron and big, strong, Giles rushed over to see if she was ok. Ever the comedian, Bergeron quipped, "When you said 'Let the baby-making begin,' I didn't think you'd get in position!", while Carrie Ann just laughed, and laughed some more, probably to hide the tears of pain and embarrassment.
Gilles and Peta eventually scored 10, 9.5 and 10 for a pretty impressive overall score of 29.5.
