Dancing With The Stars' Favorite Teary After Perfect Scores
Earlier in the week, Ward was in danger of pulling out of the competition after his professional partner Kym Johnson fell on her head and cried out, "I can't feel my arms!" The incident was captured on camera and shown during Monday's show. Doctors eventually cleared Johnson to continue in the competition, but she wore a neck brace during practise. The injury didn't deter the couple, who received perfect scores for their sharp routines. Ward was overcome with emotion after the performances, saying, "Praise God she's walking, she's a warrior. I love her", with Johnson adding, "It could have been really bad. I feel so blessed and lucky to be OK". Head judge Len Goodman praised the couple for the intensity of their tango routine, saying, "It was like something from the Kama Sutra, that is a tango!", while Bruno Tonioli remarked, "It was like good sex ... you never want it to end".
Elsewhere on Dancing With The Stars, Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas kept the pressure on Hines and Kym with impressive Argentina tango and rumba routines, while Kirstie Alley received a total of 54 out of 60 for her Viennese waltz and paso doble performances. 'Karate Kid' star Ralph Macchio received a respectable 48 out of 60 despite still suffering from last week's injury.
