Dan Seals Dead At 61

Pop and country singer DAN SEALS, who scored a major 1970s hit with I'D REALLY LOVE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT, has died, aged 61.
He died on Wednesday (25Mar09) following treatments for lymphoma.
One-half of the pop duo, England Dan & John Ford Coley, Seals went on to become a major country star, claiming 11 number one hits in the 1980s and early 1990s, including You Still Move Me, Three Time Loser and Big Wheels in the Moonlight.
He won Country Music Association Awards in 1986, including one for Best Vocal Duo for his performance of Meet Me In Montana with Marie Osmond.
Seals' brother was Jim Seals of Seals & Croft.
