Dale Is Too Old For Minogue
UGLY BETTY star Alan Dale has kept a close eye on his former soap castmate Kylie Minogue's musical career - but concedes he'd never want to see her in concert.
The actor starred in hit Australian soap opera Neighbours with the Spinning Around singer from 1986 to 1988, and is proud of his former colleague's success.
Despite his elation at bumping into Minogue recently, Dale - who has landed American TV success in such shows as 24, The O.C. and Ugly Betty - insists he's too old to buy a ticket to a Kylie gig.
He says, "I saw her in Cardiff (Wales), where she was filing Doctor Who, a few months ago and gave her a big cuddle.
"It was lovely to see her. I've been watching her career all these years and she's doing well.
"I wouldn't want to go and watch because I'm an old dude."
