Miley Cyrus is to take her brother's band on the road with her when she tours North America at the end of the year (09).
Trace Cyrus' rock act Metro Station will open for his little sister on all 45 dates of her upcoming tour, which will start in Oregon in September (09).
And the Hannah Montana star is delighted Trace will be keeping her company. She says, "Having my big brother open for me is a dream come true!!!"
The trek will be the teen pop sensation's first tour since her Best of Both Worlds dates in 2007 and 2008, which grossed over $55 million (£36.6 million) for the starlet, according to Billboard Boxscore.
The 2009 dates will be part of a new paperless ticketing experiment by agency Ticketmaster in a bid to limit ticket scalping.
According to a press release, obtained by Billboard.com, "All tickets will be sold exclusively through paperless ticket delivery, which means fans will not receive a physical concert ticket for their entry into the event."
