Cruise Makes Lions For Lambs First United Artists Signing
Paramount Pictures boss SUMNER REDSTONE sensationally axed the studio's deal with Cruise star earlier this year (06), blaming his famous couch-jumping appearance on Oprah Winfrey's TV show for embarrassing the studio and hampering the box office performance of MISSION: Impossible III.

Streep tells the Hollywood Reporter, "I'm the investigative reporter on (Cruise's) a**."
