Crow Slams Luhrmann For Non Payment

I am a fan of Russell Crowe who has been fortunate to have been offered good scripts and used them well. It is unfortunate there was a disagreement between Baz and Russell which resulted in Russell not landing the role and it was offered to Hugh Jackman.In the circumstances if Russell was building stables for the film he should have had a contract to cover himself. After all if Baz could not use the stables as he had to replace his original choice you can hardly expect him to pay. It may be better if they talked and see if they could work something out rather than complaining in print ?However, I am an avid fan of Hugh and I think he is a superb actor - his talents are amazing, he is handsome and his personality and behaviour are beyond reproach. He has charisma and a wonderful sense of fun. He has more than proved himself on film and the stage for top directors to hand him top class scripts which they know will be exptertly handled with all the emotions required.
