Crocodile Hunter Irwin's Last Adventure To Air In January

The wildlife special tragic CROCODILE HUNTER star STEVE IRWIN was shooting when he was killed by a stingray's barb in September (06) is to air in January (07). The Discovery Channel and Animal Planet TV networks will simultaneously air his last TV project OCEAN'S DEADLIEST in America on 21 January. The animal expert and conservationist was killed off the coast of Australia while shooting the show with oceanographer and adventurer PHILLIPE COUSTEAU. Cousteau, who was aboard Irwin's boat Croc One with the Aussie TV star during the expedition, narrates the 90 minute documentary. The special is expected to be one of the two nature channels' biggest ratings winners as fans tune in to catch a last glimpse of the Crocodile Hunter.

I too shall want to watch this heartbreaking moment when Steve was at his best...doing what he loved most...this may sound unusual, and I don't mean to hurt anyone, but not many of us have the chance be happy when we meet our demise.I believe Bindi and the family will go far in following his quest...after all, Steve is still around, we just can't see him...but he is guiding all the people who help animals, while keeping close by his family...On New Year's Eve, I will drink a toast to him...In Gratitude For Changing Our World...Here's to you, Steve! Thank You!

Here in Puerto Rico not many people knew about Steve until his tragic death. It is sad, but now almost everybody watches his shows on Animal Planet, I guess he is very happy from heaven because more people now get to learn about wildlife and learn to love it as much as he did. I will personally watch this program not to see the negative part of it, but to see him once more enjoying his life.We will meet again, Mate. Crikey!!! yes we will.

Patricia in Pho...

I will certainly be one of the many who views this program on January 21, 2007. I'm still having a difficult time getting my mind around the fact that Steve died filming a children's documentary by an animal that is normally docile and relatively harmless. It still seems to terribly senseless and bizarre. The only explanation that works to any degree at all is that it was simply Steve's time to go. I genuinely hope that Bindi continues with her plans to film a children's program as soon as possible. I believe she is ready and it will be even more tragic if she doesn't get on with it. The media and social workers have done enough damage to the Irwin family. They need to butt out and let Terri get on with raising her children as she sees fit. She is an intelligent and a compassionate human being and a devoted parent. She knows what is best for her children.
