GOSSIP GIRL star CHACE CRAWFORD has laughed off the "comical" reports written about him by bloggers - insisting everything he's read about himself on the internet has been fabricated.
The actor has become a fixture among gossip websites since rising to fame on the hit U.S. show about a group of spoiled teens.
And he's baffled by the extent to which some bloggers will go to just to feature him on their sites.
He says, "It's ironic that on the show we're stalked by a blogger, and now we're the subject of that in real life. I don't read the blogs... The bloggers fabricate everything, and it gets picked up by the whole gossip world. It's just one of those things you can't get sucked into.
"If I'm standing next to a dog, they'll say we're dating. Or next to my sister - I got that as well. I let it roll off my back. There's a lot of speculation with no reality to it, complete fabrications about my private life. My close friends and my family - they obviously know what the reality of my private life is. It's just comical."
A sleekly made thriller with a sparky sense of humour, this is also a rare action movie that has something important to say.
