Craig Tops Most Stylish Poll
The 39-year-old actor landed the top spot in part due to his appearance as the suave secret service agent in Casino Royale.
"No Bond since Sean Connery has worn it better," the magazine states. "It works because the 007 uniform seems like an upgrade of what Craig would naturally wear."
Conservative leader David Cameron follows Craig in second place, with his sharp-suited attire a part of his appeal to voters.
He is described by GQ as a "politician who understands the news agenda is set as much by appearance as it is by words".
Apparently this is not something shared with his political rival, chancellor Gordon Brown, who is listed embarrassingly as the second-worst dressed celebrity.
With his love-it-or-hate-it dress sense, comedian Russell Brand paradoxically was named as the worst dressed celebrity as well as the eighth-best dressed male.
"Some can't stick him but to others he's British exuberance encapsulated," the magazine said.
Prince Harry is the first royal to make it into the top ten, where he is joined by Clive Owen, David Beckham, Pete Doherty and Jude Law.
