Craig David Stuns Newlyweds With Surprise Performance
Theo Coyne and Lisa Potter-Dixon started a campaign on Twitter.com and YouTube.com in a bid to convince the Seven Days hitmaker to be guest of honour at their big day over the weekend (18-19Aug12).
They were left stunned when David, who now lives in Florida, arrived at their reception in Cambridgeshire, England and sang an hour-long set for their thrilled guests, before joining in the party.
The singer posted a picture of himself posing with the newlyweds and their wedding party on snap sharing website Instagram, writing, "Had the most amazing experience last night surprising Theo & Lisa at their wedding celebrations! Seeing them so happy having me attend & hearing me sing was as emotional for me as it was for them!
"They told me how they have been fans of my music from the start of my career, have bought all of my songs, been to over 25 of my concerts and that my music had brought them closer together over the 8 years that they have been partners."
