Cowell Outbids Osbourne On Live Tv

Simon Cowell outbid his The X Factor co-judge Sharon Osbourne live on British TV yesterday (21NOV06) when he pledged GBP25,000 ($45,000) to charity.
Cowell was a guest on ITV show THIS MORNING when Osbourne phoned presenter PHILLIP SCHOFIELD and donated GBP10,000 ($18,000) to the programme's appeal to raise funds for the UK's hospices.
She said, "I want to donate GBP5,000 from me and Ozzy wants to give you GBP5,000 too."
And in the spirit of his on-screen rivalry with Osbourne, Cowell immediately trumped her, saying, "I want to help your appeal too - how much did Sharon give? Well, I'll give 25 grand - deal?"
