Anastacia is a cougar.

The 'I'm Outta Love' singer - who filed for divorce from her husband Wayne Newton, in April citing irreconcilable differences - is currently single and would love to date a younger man.

When asked if she would consider dating someone younger than her, the 41-year-old star told BANG Showbiz: "Yeah!!! Bring it on. Dating a younger man? I'm a cougar now. That's what we do."

A cougar is a term for an older woman who dates much younger men.

Anastacia - who overcame breast cancer in 2003 - recently revealed that she won't give up on the idea of having a child of her own within the next 20 years.

She said: "Having children has been a hope for me since I was very young.

"For a period of time when I was married, I was saying no, but I'd have to be 60 to give up hope.

"I would adopt, like Sandra Bullock. There doesn't have to be a father, a mother, two dogs and 2.5 children to be a perfect family."
